I’m so glad you’re here!

Fashion and home design have always held a special place in my life. Some of my earliest memories are of treasure hunting in antique shops and vintage markets with my mom, Linda - searching for just the right piece to bring home. She’s the one who sparked my love for beautiful things, and her ability to create warm, thoughtful spaces continues to inspire me every day.

Growing up in New England, I was surrounded by history which helped shape my aesthetic early on. I’ve always been drawn to the balance of old and new, high and low, polished and imperfect - an approach rooted in beauty, quality, and the kind of effortless elegance that never feels overdone.

Professionally, I’ve had the privilege of working with and learning from some of the best. At TJX, I developed a foundation in negotiation and the art of the deal while at HomeGoods. At Rue La La & Gilt, I oversaw the sourcing of everything from pre-loved luxury to contemporary fashion and beauty, building lasting partnerships with top brands, resellers, and vendors. My time at Condé Nast brought me deeper into the world of lifestyle and beauty for Allure and GQ, curating assortments and growing the subscription businesses while delighting members with every delivery.

Personally, in 2021 my husband and I took a leap - we purchased our first home in the Connecticut countryside. It was a rundown property full of potential, in desperate need of renovation and love. While he was (understandably) terrified, I couldn’t wait to get started. Between city work weeks and country weekends, I’ve poured my heart into bringing the space back to life. What started as a leap of faith has grown into one of the greatest joys of my life.

And it’s from that joy and balance that Dayton Jane was born.

Named for the street signs that surround where we call home and inspired by the elegant tension between two worlds - the dynamic energy of New York City and the quiet beauty of Fairfield County - Dayton Jane is a brand defined by duality. Our aesthetic lives in the space between polish and practicality, curation and creativity, style and story. Each item is thoughtfully chosen, beautifully lived, and made to bring lasting joy.
